Hope Ignited As Police Identify AKA, Tibz Killers

A ray of hope has been ignited after Kwazulu-Natal police reportedly identified the suspects who shot and killed AKA and his friend, Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.

On the 10th of February, AKA whose real name is Kiernan Jarryd Forbes was brutally killed in front of a restaurant in Durban; his friend who was excited to meet with him also died on the same spot.

The identification of the suspects was made possible through CCTV footage, which captured the chilling moment when two shooters approached AKA’s group as they were leaving Wish restaurant. This crucial evidence has played a pivotal role in the investigation, helping the police make significant progress in the case.

Lovers and supporters of the two public figures have been crying out for justice and it appears that the police have made a headway.

According to the report, the suspects are yet to be arrested as the police are trying to build a solid case.

KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, confirmed the breakthrough to eNCA. He stated that the police had successfully identified the suspects involved in the shooting and killing of AKA and Tibz. However, the suspects are yet to be apprehended as the police continue to gather evidence and build a strong case against them.

Commissioner Mkhwanazi emphasized the importance of building a solid case before making any arrests. He said that this cautious approach would ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice and that the case against them is airtight.

The identification of the suspects in the AKA and Tibz case comes as a ray of hope for the supporters and fans of these two public figures. Their untimely deaths have left a void in the hearts of many, and the identification of the suspects brings a glimmer of hope for justice to be served.

Frustrations have been mounting due to the slow progress in other high-profile murder cases, such as the unsolved murder of Orlando Pirates goalie, Senzo Meyiwa.

However, some social media users are not pleased with the announcement of this update, as many claim that it might alert the suspects before arrest.

“They should have waited until they have that strong case before talking. You can’t smoke out iinkabi, they know they are lying.”
