Another well-known South African actor, Zolisa Xaluva, has recently been implicated in an identity fraud scam.
Following the creation of an account used to defraud individuals, Zolisa Xaluva has issued a warning.
Having acted in several regional plays, including Generations, Scandal, Gomorra, and most recently Kings of Joburg, Xakuva is highly recognized.
The verified account with the handle @RealZolisa has established a WhatsApp-based company called Lakey Media in response to claims that some Twitter users have been duped.
They asserted that the account made a promise to assist users in finding TV employment. The victims are conned after sending a fee to the organization.
Xakuva is now a cast member of Smoke and Mirrors, a free-to-air terrestrial TV program that airs every weeknight on channel etv.
He warned his followers to exercise extreme caution since the account had defrauded several individuals and that he had no affiliation with it.
“I have no affiliation with Lakey Media, @RealZolisa is not my account even though it is verified. I have no connection to it or the person running it. If you’ve fallen victim, I sincerely apologize, please send me your proof and we can see what we can do,” he said.
