With the rising crime stats in South Africa, quite a number of well-known individuals have been arrested and appeared in the courts of law over charges of fraud, and scamming, only to mention a few.
Fraud is a criminal offense carried out by people from different age ranges, class, status, and gender.
The poor are not the only ones associated with fraud; in fact, a substantial number of wealthy people have been publicly called out over fraud.
Over the past years, we’ve heard of celebrities who disappointed their fans after being exposed as scammers.
However today, our focus is on South African celebrities whose partners have been labeled fraudsters.
We will briefly talk about four SA female celebrities whose (ex) partners have made headlines severally for being scammers.
- Faith Nketsi
Faith’s husband whose name is Nzuzo Njilo has been facing fraud charges over the past one year.
- Ayanda Thabethe
- Londie London
- Khanyi Mbau.
- DJ Zinhle – Her former partner, AKA (Kiernan Forbes), has faced allegations of fraud in the past.
- Bonang Matheba – Bonang’s ex-boyfriend, Euphonik (Themba Nkosi), has been accused of fraud in the past.
- Pearl Thusi – Robert Marawa, Pearl’s former partner, has faced accusations of financial impropriety and fraud.
- Somizi Mhlongo – Somizi’s husband, Mohale Motaung, has faced allegations of fraudulent activities.
- Lerato Kganyago – Lerato’s ex-husband, Thami Ndlala, has been accused of involvement in fraudulent activities.
- Nomzamo Mbatha – Although not directly linked to her partner, Nomzamo’s ex-boyfriend, Maps Maponyane, has faced rumors and speculation regarding fraudulent business practices.
